located in Cranston, RI, and is one of Rhode Island’s leading therapeutic
riding facilities. The riding programs at Lend A Hand Horse Farm are designed to meet the needs of children and/or adults with physical, mental, or social disabilities as well as those who are eager to learn about horse riding in a therapeutic environment. Our programs focus on disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, behavioral problems, speech impairments, muscular dystrophy, muscle weakness, sensory intergration disorders, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, mentally challenged, and more. Each child or adult is carefully evaluated by a professionally trained staff of licensed therapists. Such therapists include occupational, physical, and speech therapists, as well as licensed hippo-therapists. Lend A Hand Horse Farm offers a modern, well-equipped facility which helps add for a wonderful family friendly atmosphere. It is our philosophy to provide therapeutic riding in a safe, caring, natural farm environment, and to treat our students and our horses with the compassion and understanding needed to accomplish any given goal as a team.
